Matrix Online: Pre-Order Beta Begins Today!

There's some confusion over the when's and how's of the preorder beta access beginning tomorrow. This should clear up some details.

Beta Hours
Current beta testing hours run from noon to midnight Pacific Standard Time on Wednesdays through Sundays. That means the earliest you will be able to begin testing is noon tomorrow.

Installer Download
If you've already registered your preorder code, you'll be receiving an email sometime after 11AM PST tomorrow. We're doing a mass mailing for everyone who registered their preorders before 9AM PST tomorrow.

If you register your preorder code after 9AM PST tomorrow, you'll get the same email via the automated system sometime after you finish registration.

The email will contain the link for the installer file. The installer file is about 21 MB in size.

Installing The Game
Once you have the installer, you'll use the username and password you create (or current username and password if you link your preorder to a current account) to start the installation.

The full installation of the game is approximately 1.4 GB in size.

Depending on server availability, you can do the installation outside of beta hours. We have a new patch going out tomorrow, so the servers may not be available before beta hours begin at noon. However, if they are, you can begin installation as soon as you have the installer file.
