This little thread started a bit of turmoil on the boards. It was up to Holocron to step in and respond to the issues on ZOCs and to help stem out some peoples disappointment in his own unique way.
Well, it's worth paying attention to why specific people are disappointed by the game. In Caella's case, not to put words in her mouth, but as I understand it, it's because of too much PvP, most specifically in the economy via Usage XP.
I understand the need for group goals. The only factionally attackable structures are basically walls and turrets and potentially a few other things, though, so by letting you place turrets we're basically at the point already of giving you point #3.Point #1 is potentially interesting but players cannot attack Coverts, so what good is it? We'd have to make it something where only NPCs did the detecting and attacking.
Point #2 is a city thing, which means FSHZZT****fribble fribble polkadot pancakesFSZZHHTT***. So we'll see.
