Asherons Call: QoTD - Should Endurance be Part of Magic Defense?

So, last night from about 11pm to 4am my neighbors, kind people they are, played Led Zepplin - Symbols over and over and over...

I had plenty of time to think. And I remember a discussion once about Magic Defense and how there were no Conan like warriors in game because of the way it's calculated. Let me explain.

If we define:
Endurance - the ability to withstand damage (any damage) over time
Self - innate magic ability
Focus - intelligence

Then Magic Defense should really have nothing to do with Focus. It should be more (End+Self)/7. So, in our Conan example (who was dumb as an ox) he had great endurance and great self, but low focus.

So, my question to you is, should Magic Defense be (End+Self)/7 or (End+Self+Focus)/7? This would have the effect of both endurance love (and a boost to Melee PK's if I understand correctly) and Magic Defense love. What do you think?
