City Of Heroes: The Uncanny Squad Server Event 12/11! (Pinnacle)

The Story:

The Outcasts found the opportunity to attack the HQ of the Uncanny Squad in Atlas Park at the time that Thundercloud was in the Second Squad Office in the Galaxy District, trying to gain some information about the new threat (The Counsil)rumored that it will strike Paragon very soon( Mindwitch is trying to find something out by using her powers).

The Outcasts attack was suprising since Earthwave and Lady Power were all alone in the Office at that moment.

They tried to fight the Outcasts back but there were too many. They also somehow found a way to seal the powers of both heroes, at the time they were fighting them. So the only thing left for them to do was to flee by using a secret underground door.

Though at the time they where trying to do that, one of the outcasts had reached them and launched a fire blast against Earthwave.....

A few moments before the fireball was about to hit him, Lady Power emerged and rescued him by using her own body as a shield to keep him from harm.

He tried to heal her injuries or hold the enemy but it was no use at all......

His powers were gone and the only thing that was left for him to do, was to flee and try to get some help, though the price to pay for this was to leave Lady Power behind him......
He didn't want to leave her alone though he had no choice.
The last thing she said to him was "Run!!! Move!!!, while the last thing he heard the Outcasts say had been "We got one down, get the other one too!!!".

He managed to reach the Atlas Security Agency where Mindwitch and Thundercloud had been officers before.

After he asked for help, the Agency told him that they weren't able to do anything about this because the most of their men were in the Hollows trying to reduce the threat of the Outcasts and Trolls which had been brewing there since the previous night after being bombarded with strange energy waves.

He tried to reach Mindwitch and Thundercloud over the phone, even tried calling Mindwitch telepathically, but to no avail..... Had they lost their powers too or had they been assaulted by the Outcasts at the same time but unable to do anything about it?

With the remaining heroes spread all over the city, he had no choice than try to find some of his Squadies so they can try to strike back and rescue Lady Power.

The Paragon City Hall representative, came and told him that she had been able to find 7 new Recruits which would be able to offer some help.

Encouraged by the good news, Earthwave is awaits the recruits' arrival...

How to Apply for this Event:

You need to have a hero Securtiy Level 11 Minimum - 14 Maximum!

You need to send a Mail to: fm95master@hotmail.com

The first 7 Participants will be able to enter this event!

All the others will be considered for future events.

All the contenders who made it in the event will get a reply notification.

The application period ends on Thursday at Midnight EST.

If there should be changes or anything else, you will be immediately informed!

The Meeting Point & Time:

The Contenders will have to be in the Atlas City Hall at 7pm EST

The Day is the 11th December (Saturday).

The Mission:

You need to go save Lady Power from the Outcasts.

To be able to do that you will have to help Earthwave gain informations through some contacts which are spread around the City.

The Rules:

You need to speak out of your character as also act like your character would in the different situations(Roleplay).

You have from 1 to 1.5 hours maximum, to find all contacts and finish the Mission.

If you die in the mission, you will be disqualified and have to go to the hospital and stay out of the mission.

Healing in the mission is allowed, Resurrection is not so be careful!

The Price and a few Tips:

Every Contender will gain 100k influence by accomplising the mission.

Disqualification by dying in the mission will gain a smaller price.

Disqualification by breaking the Rules will gain nothing.

If you die, you won't gain anything.

Good Teamwork and Tactics is the key to win the fight against the powerful enemies.

The Contacts will give you a few clues to where the other contacts have been sighted the last time they saw them.

Earthwave will be with the team but won't be able to help through the mission since his powers are sealed. That means that it will be a fight of 7 in a mission of 8.

Ask the Contacts for information after you find them so you that you can find more clues.
