- Recipe: Mithril Arrow - Lowered the Create Item skill to level 4, and the MP to 130.
(Please note that the mouse-over descriptions for the previous 4 recipes have yet to be updated, but the system is working as described above.)
- Recipe: Soulshot: A Grade - Ingredient quantities have been changed to require 36 Soul Ores and 1 Crystal: A Grade to create 300 Soulshots: A Grade.

- The pickup command used by pets will no longer allow a user to store arrows, soulshots, spiritshots, or blessed spiritshots. Pets are not intended to be allowed to store these items.
- To coincide with other types of soulshots or spiritshots, Compressed Packages cannot be given to a pet or be collected by a pet.
- The image of Raid Sword*Sword of Nightmare and the image of Sword of Limit*Sword of Nightmare were displayed incorrectly as the image of Caliburs. We have corrected this error.
- The Compressed Packages of Greater Soulshots/Spiritshots/Blessed Spiritshots: No Grade will be sold in stores.
- The weight of the following items has been changed from 180 to 20: Potion of Alacrity, Haste Potion, Lesser Healing Potion, Beginner's Potion, Healing Potion, Greater Healing Potion, Antidote and Greater Antidote

- The prize items for each grade have been changed as follows:
- 1st Grade Prize Items: Demon's Staff, Dark Screamer, Widow Maker and Sword of Limit.
- 2nd Grade Prize Items: Demon's Boots, Demon's Stockings, Demon's Gloves, and Full Plate Helmet.
- 3rd Grade Prize Items: Moonstone Earring, Nassen's Earring, Ring of Sage, and Necklace of Protection.
Skills:
- Skill-related text including names, descriptions, and NPC skills has been edited to remove the majority of inaccuracies.
- To avoid the problem of characters abusing the Lucky skill to receive no penalty for death, when a character's PK count is one or more, the character will not be able to benefit from the Lucky skill. The skill icon remains in the Passive Skill list but the character will be able to lose items and experience upon death at level 4 and under.
- Attack Range has been increased for the following skills:
- Surrender to Fire
- Surrender to Earth
- Surrender to Poison
- Surrender to Wind
- Surrender to Water
- Veil
- The Manor system skill, sowing, has had its MP consumption reduced.
- Group Heal should now work properly with spiritshots and blessed spiritshots.
- Among the skills for servitors, the range of attack for Toxic Smoke, Steel Blood, and Mega Storm Strike have been increased.
- Certain servitor's animations and sound effects have been corrected.
- The Knight skill, Aggression, has had its casting time reduced and the range increased.
- Song of Earth has been greatly improved.
- Song of Water, Agility, Tact of Paagrio, and Chant of Evasion have had their effect slightly reduced.
- The Elder class can now learn levels 4, 5, and 6 of the skill Bless Shield. (Level 62, 66, and 70 respectively)
- Benediction is now usable at 25% or lower of one's HP. (It was previously 10%)
- The skill Spoil Festival was improperly applying to a dead monster; this has been fixed.
Interface:
- Official support of windowed mode has been added.
- You can toggle the windowed mode by pressing Alt + Enter while running Lineage II.
- While running in the windowed mode, the gamma values in the game cannot be changed. In the Display Properties of the background screen, you can adjust the brightness of the screen.
- Please bear in mind that while running in the windowed mode, if you run multiple programs at the same time, an overloading (lag) can occur in the game or the game can get terminated abruptly.
- If you attempt to change the resolution while running in the windowed mode, various interfaces will not be properly positioned on the screen. Therefore, please change the resolution while you are running in full screen.
- Depending upon a PC's system capacity and the graphics card being used, the windowed mode may not always run correctly.
- Official support of game pad controllers has been added. When a game pad is plugged in to the computer, you can select "Game Pad" in the Options window to use it for game play.
- Miscellaneous text has been cleaned up so that it fits properly and describes the proper function. This includes buttons and skills within the interface.
- Overhead names are now displaying correctly; you will no longer see cut-off letters such as g, y, etc.
- The chat filter has been modified.
- The blue recommendation color has been lightened somewhat due to the dark color being hard to read.
- A character will no longer be able to open a private store during combat, while aggressive (purple), or casting a spell.
- We have corrected an error that displayed the incorrect stats of a player which occurred while wearing certain sets and attempting to remove a symbol.
- Characters can no longer be dismissed or leave a clan during combat.
NPCs:
- Many NPC names have been corrected both in dialogue and overhead. This should fix the majority of inaccuracies.
- The difficulty level of Longhorn Golkonda and Fire of Wrath Shuriel has been adjusted.
- The AI for Wild Hog Cannon and Big Boom has been adjusted.
- "Platinum Tribe Shamans" have been removed from Antharas's Cave and have been replaced with "Bloody Banshees".
- The Bloody Lord's party, located near the Border Outpost, has been modified to include a Bloody Knight and the Bloody Ghosts have been reduced from 3 to 2.
- We have corrected the problem of a monster hesitating rather than normally attacking a character that is running away from it. With this update, all monsters will now attack a character that comes within their range of attack one or more times and then they will chase the character.
Note: Due to this change, your screen may seem like a monster is attacking a character that is located beyond its attack range.
- Characters that attempt to kite a Boss monster or Raid monster while riding a strider will be slowed for 20 minutes.
- The problem of a nurse ant not returning to an ant larva under attack has been corrected.
- The locations of Treasure Chests and Mimics have been changed to appear more randomly.
- Some monsters, particularly those with ranged attack, have had an innate resistance to bow attack; this has been removed.
Clan Hall:
- The bug where level 1 teleport options were not displaying after initializing level 2 teleports has been fixed.
- If the Bandit Stronghold's final combat (40 minutes) ends in a tie, NPC's will take possession of the clan hall.
[p]Other:
[p]
- Alliance wars will no longer end on server restarts, and players will now be able to surrender or cease fire to end the war.
- When a character would escape from the western part of the Misty Mountains, the character would be sent to the Elven village. This has been fixed. A character escaping from the western part of the Misty Mountains will now be sent to the Dark Elven Village.
Note: Elves are not intended to escape to the Dark Elven Village, and will be sent to the Elven Village.
- To help relieve excessive PK activities in the starting towns or Floran Village a chaotic character with a PK count of 5 or more will be transported to Floran Village either upon clicking "Return to the Nearest Village" or use of a scroll of escape.
Note: In the case of a non-chaotic character dieing near Floran Village or the Monster Race Track, the character will restart in Dion Village.
- A Race Manager has been placed next to the Broadcasting Tower in Aden Castle Town.
- During a siege, clan war or alliance war, the distinguishing marks for each side were not displaying properly; this has been fixed.
- Increased influence of STR and CON for classes in which their main attributes were above that of the average (Human Warrior). This affected classes negatively below that 'average' so the following adjustments have been made.
- The effectiveness of the "Weapon Mastery" skill has been enhanced. The P. Atk. of the Warrior class and Wizard class and the P. Atk. and M. Atk. of the Mystic class would get enhanced by a character's acquisition of a skill. They have been further strengthened.
- For the classes whose base CON value is less than 43, we have adjusted their maximum HP value so that their maximum HP will remain the same.
- Based upon the lowest CON value, Dark Wizards (24), the carrying weight of those classes whose CON is greater has been greatly enhanced.
Although many adjustments were made no clue was negatively influenced by the reworking of these attributes, due to the previously listed balances.
