Lineage 2: Singing Island/Hidden Valley Guide

Here is a small guide for newbies in Singing Island and Hidden Valley, soon I will compile all the guides and put them on one page.

Singing Island/Hidden Valley Hunting

Every new charachter should start out by leveling in Hidden Valley or Singing Island. Elves can talk to the NPC which is located to the right of the tree to goto Hidden Valley, NPC ** can take you back to elven forest if you need.

In Singing Island, go to the training dummies located below the town, get to level 4 or 5 there, then go kill a few orcs or goblins, you can come back to town and heal yourself at a healer located at entrance. Get 500 adena and go buy yourself a bow and some arrows. Now you can go out of the bottom entrance of town, past the dummies, you will find some cliffs, you can stand on one side of the cliff and shoot to the other side at the monsters, but you have to stand far enough away from the cliff so that when the monster comes to it, it cant reach you. Be careful of zombies, orc fighters and wolves. Zombies are aggressive and will attack you, if there is a wolf on your side of the cliff and you shoot one that cant reach you, the wolf next to you will defend the other wolf and attack you, same with orc fighters.

In Hidden Valley, you can train to level 4 or 5 at the dummies located above town, after that you can go around killing monsters and coming back to town to get some heal from healer. You can use the money you get to buy potions so you dont have to come back to town for heal as often.

You can get some meat by killing dogs or buying it from store and then go hit a dog and bring it to healer. Hit it one or 2 times, then give it 1 meat, if it doesn't tame, hit it one more time and give it one more meat, do so until it gets tamed or you run out of meat. During this, talk to healer and click the heal text to recieve heal so the dog does not kill you. You will need floating eye meat if you want to tame a doberman, other dogs are tamed with normal meat.

After hitting level 10, you can continue hunting untill a ranger sees you, then you will be teleported out. By that time you should be ready to hit the hard mop and make some high level friends who can help you. Dogs are a must for new players. They make you money fast and will not grab too much exp.
