About Version Update Congestion Issues

This is a notice about certain issues that have occurred during the FINAL FANTASY XI Update on Dec. 8

You will need to update your client software following the FINAL FANTASY XI Update that took place on Dec. 8. During this time
players may experience certain issues while trying to obtain confirmation of the completion of the FINAL FANTASY XI Update. Symptoms may include network congestion that result in timeout errors being displayed on the confirmation screen.
