Further Details on Current Known Issues (Dec. 12)

Following the December 8th FINAL FANTASY XI version update, some PlayStation 2 users have received an "FFXI-3331" error after selecting the Play button on the FINAL FANTASY XI top page. Those users have since been unable to play the game.

Our technical staff is still investigating the cause of this issue.

Therefore, though we realize the inconvenience it may cause, we must ask that those customers who are unable to play FINAL FANTASY XI as described above reinstall the FINAL FANTASY XI software, including any and all expansion packs.

A means to prevent this issue from occurring again and a more efficient system of dealing with similar issues are both currently under development. Finally, we offer our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this issue is causing our customers.
