Final Fantasy: Forum Changes and Present

Since there has been a lot of troubles lately with the General Discussion board which was meant to talk about anything and everything, related or not to FFXI, I finaly gave in and made an Off-Topic board to accomodate everyone.

At first I didn't want to do this for the board already existed but I now feel that the community will not change its habbits so a new board should be more useful.

In result I did remove a few of them though. The folowing boards have been removed from the site : Archivers of Vana'diel, San d'Oria Desert Camp, Windurst's Forest and Bastok's Legion.

There has also been a few changes in the menu and the sorting of the forums. You will now find the Off-Topic and Suggestions boards within the WFFO sub-menu and the GD have been moved to the FFXI sub-menu.

Regarding Linkshell boards. Each of them that aren't active and that doesn't at least have 10 different threads on them will be deleted on the new year. This is for a clean-up reason.

Early in the new year there should be some changes regarding the site. There will be staff hiring, new database system with more information up to date, new columns and some minor changes.

Oh and enjoy the Off-Topic board but don't let the others die alone ;)

And a last thing to add. All FF related threads in the Off-Topic WILL be moved to the GD board.
