Stamped, dyed silk flags can be mounted on housing hooks! Yes, and if you've got a villa (or a mansion!?), there's plenty of places to put a flag that are visible for miles. Or kilometers. Or whatever. (What's the unit of distance in Dereth, anyway? I don't remember any lore on this, ... but I digress.)
