Q: I was wondering how clustered servers will handle "Darkness Falls." Will the clustered servers share the same DF dungeon, or will they have their own separate one? What about POC?

A: The intention is that clustered servers will share those dungeons. You know what they say about intentions, of course. But that's our plan.

Q: I bought a house and a consignment merchant. I loaded up the merchant with wares and set the prices. However, I cannot find my items on the explorer, even after waiting 24 hours. Is this a bug, or did I skip a step?

A: I appreciate you waiting a few hours before writing to me. While the explorer usually updates immediately, there is sometimes a short delay.

In this case, however, there was no delay. You need to be standing next to your merchant, and type /listmerchant before your goods will appear on the market explorer. The explorer is an "opt in" feature. I'm sorry that wasn't more clear.

Q: Regarding server clusters: What will you do with Mordred and Gaheris?

A: At this time we have no plans to cluster either of those servers.

Q: I started a new character, and skipped a level for my lowbie quests. When I went back to my trainer he gave me the lower lvl quest first. Then the indicator vanished. Yet when I talked to him again he gave me another quest. Is this a bug or is this designed as intended?

A: I have absolutely no clue - because you didn't tell me your class, your trainer, or your character name. Please, for the sake of my incredibly limited sanity, don't be afraid to give me too much information. Appeals have a limit on the number of keystrokes you can make - but feedback forms do not, and I really would like to help you.

Q: During the past few artifact raids I have attended I have noticed that the loot message haven't said that the artifact indeed dropped, and even in picking up loot there is no bag, but it is picked up. Is this intended, and is there a way to spam that the artifact dropped so everyone knows it did?

A: There is a message, but it only prints on the screens of players within a certain radius of the location where the artifact dropped. If the artifact drops practically at your feet, please send us a bug appeal with the name of the artifact and the zone you're in. As with all bug appeals, your appeal will not be answered in person, but sent directly to our bug testing dungeon for study.

Q: Will there ever be a Linux version of DAOC? What about a Mac version?

A: I'm sorry, but we have no plans for either at this time. There are three different version of the game on the PC as it is :)

And now for a question about the subscription rate increase:

Q: What happens to beta players who are locked into the cheaper beta rate? Will they be affected by the pay increase, or are they still going to get the reduced fee?

A: All beta players keep the old price for as long as they have an open account.
