Star Wars Galaxies: Collecting News: Star Wars Fabric for ROTS

Springs Creative Products Group in South Carolina makes fabric used in the craft and quilting industry.

According to David-Wes, the company's Webmaster, the company agreed on a contract with Lucasfilm to produce craft fabric by the yard for ROTS.

This is the first time it's ever been produced for any of the SW films. Being a huge SW fan and a constant visitor to the site I have been waiting for the day since then where we finally got our first order on the fabric, and management finally let me spread the word to my SW brethren.

I have just added the first of three SW fabrics from ROTS onto our corporate website to be viewed by the public. We have a few different designs that will go on-line soon, but these are the first.

We have an awesome panel called Vader's Revenge that you have to check out. It's printed on 100% fleece and the detail is by the far the best we've ever produced. Being the resident SW fanatic, I was asked to work with the designers that created the fabric. Below is a link to our website that shows the fabric with huge jpgs. David-Wes said his company will also begin producing fabric for the original trilogy later this year. ROTS fabric should be in stores by late April and will be available at Wal-Mart, JoAnns and Hobby Lobby.
