Alas for the poor souls whose lives have been claimed by the dreaded Hopeslayer... Of course, I haven't met him personally so perhaps I am not one to judge. He might not be such a bad fellow once you get to know him, he could just have bad social skills, bad luck, or a lot of destruction might just follow in his wake... but, probably not.
As we approached the spot lighting flashed and thunder roared from a cloudless sky. The brilliance of the sun grew ominously dim. Suddenly the tree's cleared, the ground fell away, and there it was. A hill of bones stretched out and down before us, and a ring of bones littered the ground at his feet. The very air round that sunken form turned to vile fumes, and blackened at its very proximity. Not the best place for an afternoon pick-nick.
