An interesting thread has popped up on appropriately naming Warforged characters. Nik Davidson offers an interesting perspective on this:

Imagine that you have all the mental capacity and knowledge that you do today, but no more than three to five years of memory. No real family or society, just self-awareness and emotions without context. What name would you choose for yourself?

Would you grasp on to your favored weapon for a name? Find a fictional hero to mimic? Or maybe you stick with a number. Certainly an interesting problem for an emerging race of warriors.
