Star Wars Galaxies: Run an event lately??

I'm looking for some anecdotes from players describing various player events, raids, weddings, etc. This is not only for an internal thing I'm working on, but it will also (hopefully) be good for other players to read. Perhaps to give them ideas, or just to give some credit where it's due.

You do not have to have requested Event Team support, though if you did, let us know. It doesn't even have to be an "event". Some examples are listed below. Wherever possible, let us know the server and any player names or guilds involved. They can be in-character, out of character, RP or just listings of details.

- Weddings - Server name and who got married (names, classes, races), who officiated, where it took place, information about any celebration afterward

- Player sponsored events (races, buffing events, etc.) - Server name and who planned and executed the event, who participated, who won (if applicable), prizes given (if applicable)

- Successful raids/adventures (but not just high level, if possible) - Server name and who planned it, what was killed and in what zone(s), who they key players were, what was accomplished

- Brief stories about something nice someone did for someone else (with server name), such as a stranger walking someone through a quest or giving a newbie armor and wepons.

Embellish all you want, but please stay on topic. Thanks a lot!
