---Rooftop Camping---
You may have noticed that Blizzard is no longer allowing rooftop camping, as stated on the forums and as announced ingame. Rooftop camping is when a player, say a Hunter for instance, stands atop a roof in a neutral city and snipes the opposing faction, this way, guards can't attack him, which makes it very unfair! Caydiem had this to say about the matter...
There has been some confusion in regards to whether or not the act of "rooftop camping", or killing players while using geometry to avoid the town guards, is allowed. We will no longer condone this act in game. Players who participate in this method of PvP will be given a warning and educated on this new policy, and further action will be taken as circumstances warrant. We wish to provide a fair playing field to our customers, and this abuse of game mechanics has been hampering that effort.Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

---All The Blue In One Place---
Derlin, a faithful WoW player, has kindly gathered all the questions that Blizzard has answered on the forums, there's 88 of them, and many of them contain information not known to most of the player base! Derlin even took the liberty of linking to the original post! Here's a sample...
Is it currently possible to achieve exalted status with another faction to purchase their mount? (03/02/05 by Eyonix)"Great timing, Apophis! I only just received the answer to this inquiry moments ago. Currently it's not possible to obtain the Exalted status necessary to obtain another race's mount. The development team realizes that this is a problem and are actively working on adding faction quest content that can be repeated by players, similar to what exists for the Argent Dawn factional quests.
Please keep in mind that the faction currently being gained will still be useful when the said changes have been implimted, as players will be that much closer to hitting the Exalted mark."

---Free Day!---
It seems that in addition to the full rest bonus all players received a few days ago, Blizzard will also be compensating the players with yet another free day! Originally, this free day was only going to be extended to "affected realms", but was soon granted to all players, on every realm (read that post [A href="http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general&t=2253087&p=1&tmp=1#post2253087" target="_blank"]here.[/a]) Caydiem announced that the free day was to be granted to all players in the following post...
We have reviewed last night's events further and have concluded that we did not compensate certain deserving realms that were down through a good portion of peak time. In addition to that, the queues and other debilitating effects caused by an inordinate number of new players on the remaining online realms was a significant blow to an average night of gameplay for everyone. Furthermore, we recognize that providing full rest bonus is not an adequate means of compensation for our level-60 players. So, to that end, the one-day credit discussed by Mike Morhaime in his message to players yesterday will now be extended to all players across all realms.Once again, we sincerely regret that yesterday's maintenance required that such a large number of our realms remain offline well beyond our initial estimates. However, we're happy to report that the maintenance we conducted has resulted in better performance overall. Our engineers will continue to monitor realm performance through the night and be prepared to take quick action should the need arise.
