City Of Heroes: Monday's Edition of 8 Seconds' Useless Informaiton

For those of you that didn't know, there is a sister site for City of Heroes for all of our spandex clad superheroes across the Pond. The site address is http://uk.cityofheroes.com/. The site pretty much mirrors our US CoH site other than the fact that the forums are tri-lingual. That's right, for all of you educated heroes out that that can read and right in German and French you can register there and post away. For all of us that are not that lucky, it will look like gibberish but hey, it looks cool.

Des travaux de maintenance sur les serveurs jeu City of Heroes Europe auront lieu tous les jours de 9h00 à 11h00 (GMT 8:00-10:00). Durant cette période, les serveurs de jeu pourront être inaccessibles pendant que nous effectuons les mises à jour nécessaires.

Veuillez noter que, bien que nous réservions cette plage horaire pour les travaux de maintenance, ceux-ci ne requerront pas nécessairement deux heures à chaque fois. Des mises à jour exceptionnelles pourront également être programmées en dehors de ces plages horaires.

Die City of Heroes Server werden täglich zwischen 9 Uhr und 11 Uhr morgens gewartet. In dieser Zeit könnten die Spiel-Server nicht erreichbar sein, da wir Wartungsarbeiten und Updates vornehmen.

Bitte beachtet, dass wir zwar diesen Zeitraum für Wartungsarbeiten vorsehen, es aber nicht zwingend immer diesen Zeitraum in Anspruch nehmen muss. Darüber hinaus kann es vorkommen, dass zusätzliche Zeitfenster für Updates benötigt werden, außerhalb dieser Zeit.

Es kann ebenfalls zu Wartungsarbeiten für andere, an City of Heroes beteiligte Server kommen. Etwa Webserver, die Foren oder der Login-Server.

Wir danken euch für euer Verständnis und für eure Geduld in diesen Zeiträumen, die Arbeiten sollen immer die bestmögliche Qualität für den City of Heroes Service sicherstellen.

Like I said, I have no idea what it says but it looks cool...

For our Korean friends their site is a heavily laden Flash site that really looks awesome. I won't even attempt to post anything from there since I have no idea what the menus even mean. If you click around long enough you can see the whole site and let me tell you, if you are on dial-up forget about it. It's all Flash and I'm on a T-1 and it even takes a few minutes to load. But hey, it looks good.
