Dungeons And Dragons Online: DDO News: Devspotting

A couple minor posts of moderate interest today. The first:

We're going to be bringing down the forums this morning for some maintenance -- we're expecting a lot of traffic this week, so we want to be prepared.

Ready, set... speculate! I'm sure this means something good for us, but I hesitate to even guess for fear of cursing it. Anyone else want to hazard a guess?

The second post provides a little more insight, but just a little into how the combat system will work:

Critical hits are currently in, and work pretty much the same way they do in D&D 3.5e.

Fumbles aren't in, although rolling a 1 on your to-hit roll will still guarantee a miss.

I was never a big fan of dropping swords through my feet, but I wonder how this will play out. Have to wonder if this applies to the casting system too. You can see that thread here.
