City Of Heroes: Ahh The Memories

Recently on the Official City of Heroes Boards a new thread was started by a player from the community asking everyone do you remember your first... CuppaJo stopped by to include her memories.

I remember my first group with 8 others hunting hydra in Perez. I was the only defender - empathy. I was healing my tail off as we pulled a few large mobs only to have other mobs trained or aggroed to us. It was sheer madness and I loved every minute of it as the XP bar seemed to move constantly.

I remember my first Igneous cave mission with my SG. All ATs except Kheldian present. We worked ourselves into a sticky situation as the blaster aggroed the entire contents of the end cave to us. All of us except the controller kissed dirt - he managed high-tail it to the mission start. The controller TP'd the dead defender to him, gave the defender an awaken and then graciously aggroed one nasty baddie to the defender who used Howling Twilight to rez me, the tank. We regrouped and charged into the fray to revive the rest of the team and clear out the mission.

I remember the excitement and tension as both CoH and L2 were launched simultaneously with one keystroke as the entire staff huddled around one computer cheering.

I remember the evil laughter filling the building as GMs and Staffers slaughtered players as Rikti during the Beta Event.
