City Of Heroes: Old Timers Thread

As I had said yesterday some of the Devs were visiting this new thread on the Official City of Heroes boards posting their memories of the beta and go live. poz, Cryptic Studios Senior Programmer, stopped by with his thoughts.

End of Beta event and going live are my big two memories:

Playing a Rikti and cutting down scores of heroes was very cathartic. I'd make packs of 30 or so drones and have them fly in huge swarms down onto the heroes. *YoU WiLl bE DeStRoYeD* The office was giddy and crazy that day...

...as it was the day we went live. For the first couple weeks: barely surpressed panic mixed with euphoria. There was a lingering fear that we might have missed something in our load testing. Two months later, that fear eventually passed.

So he was behind the hero killings!!! Finally some closure on whom to remove from my Christmas card list. hehe
