Aether, Community Events Manager, wants to know:
Rumors abound in the world of The Matrix Online... have you had an opportunity to interact with a key figure in the Matrix? Drop a line in this thread if you've had a sighting, the Live Events Team wants to know!
Here's the Thread to respond.
Also he has requested feedback from the The Race to Find the One Event and had this to say:
As you know, The Race to Find the One was our first large-scale live event for The Matrix Online community. The Live Events Team enjoyed the overall experience, but as you can imagine, we learned a lot as well.
We know that there has been a lot of passionate discussion, both pro and con, about The Race to Find the One event, and those comments will play a key role of growing and improving our storytelling efforts in the future. It is with that in mind that The Live Events Team requests you share suggestions, ideas and constructive feedback in regards to last week's events, here in this thread.
Your responses are critical, in that they will be included as part of our internal post-mortem efforts. Once we have collected your feedback, your comments will play a large role in improving our future event offerings.
I'd like to thank everyone for their participation in our first event efforts, we look forward to providing you even more opportunities to participate in the unfolding story of The Matrix Online .
Finally he also has another thread asking for Emotes:
Emotes allow your RSI to convey an idea, feeling or reaction without uttering a word. Right now, The Matrix Online has over 17 two person emote animations and 161 one person emote animations. Now we want more!
Read the guidelines below, then reply to this thread with your own emote wish list. You just might see your emote come alive in the world of The Matrix Online !
Guidelines for Emote Submissions
- The best ideas for emotes are the ones that convey cohesive communication through full body language (i.e. "chewing bubble gum" would not be apparent from a normal game distance).
- Be descriptive on how this would look, or refer to an action everyone knows, or something from a movie.
- Utilitarian: actions that will provoke others to do other actions & create play.
- The Matrix Online allows people to engage in two person emotes. We are especially interested in ideas for emotes involving two people.
- Vulgar actions will not be considered, so let's keep our suggestions appropriate.
Cheers!
Aether
