PlayOnline Viewer Update (Apr. 19)

At the following time, we will be performing a version update of the PlayOnline Viewer.

There will be no PlayOnline server maintenance during this version update. The use of PlayOnline, FINAL FANTASY XI will continue as normal.

*There will be maintenance conducted on Tetra Master at the same time. For more information please refer to the news "Tetra Master Server Maintenance (Apr. 19)."

*The client software will also be updated at this time. The version update process will automatically begin upon login after the time stated below. Please follow the instructions that appear on your screen.

[Important Update Details]
- A function will be added to the Handle List where unlinked Content IDs can be linked when launching the game from the PlayOnline Viewer.

- Friends on "My Friend List" will be shown as being online only when both parties are using the same handles they used for friend registration.
*This will basically be the same environment as the "Friends Only" privacy setting before March 2005.
