AC2HQ.com has posted an interesting article. It's a Visual Comparison of AC1 and AC2.
[i]Introduction:
This article is a brief "visual" comparison between Asheron's Call 1 and Asheron's Call 2: Fallen Kings, and is not intended to be a review of either game, or a comparison of which is better. I get asked what AC1 was like a lot, and this is part 1 of a 2 part series that compares the two games. What is Asheron's Call?
AC1, like AC2, was developed by Turbine Entertainment, and published and run by Microsoft and it was released in November of 1999 to join the ranks of Ultima Online and EverQuest as one of the "Big Three" MMRPG's of the time. To this day, it still averages roughly 10,000 people logged in every night, and this is a testament to how good the game was. While it never became as popular as Ultima Online or EverQuest, it was just as good, and better in many ways, as a lot of people who have played it and the other games for 2 or 3 years will attest. Many people have labeled it the "best secret in MMRPG's" and I strongly agree with that statement.
