Asherons Call: Quest Updates: Impious Staff!

For as long as any can remember, a four-towered fortress has stood near Ziakhal, on the line between the Gharun'dim capital city and the desert town of Al-Jalima. Dizah ibn Nadqab, who has stood within the fortress walls since his first expedition into the temple beneath, was the first to investigate this place - before almost any of us had arrived upon Dereth, let alone investigated our new home.

Unfortunately, his lone descent into the depths of the Impious Temple was ill-fated, and Dizah barely escaped with his life - leaving his research notes behind, but returning with tales of undead priests and their treasure, jealously guarded against any intruders. He now remains as gatekeeper to this ancient place, however, warning adventurers to stay away - but happy to guide willing Isparians to the temple entrance - for a modest fee.

Abd al-Schachabo recently decided to investigate this temple, and anything it may still contain. Assisted by Praetor Malloc, he accomplished his goal and more - the recovery and repair of one of the more unique casting items to be found in Dereth - the Impious Staff!
