Billing Migration Comes to an End
Over the last several months, tens of thousands of Asheron's Call accounts have been migrated off of the MSN Gaming Zone and onto Turbine's Billing System. Now the time has come to take the final step of the transition from Microsoft to Turbine - shutting off MSN Gaming Zone logins altogether. This is scheduled to occur tomorrow.

When the worlds come back up after tomorrow's scheduled maintenance, players will no longer be able to log in to Asheron's Call via MSN Gaming Zone lobbies.

The vast majority of active Asheron's Call accounts have already been migrated to Turbine Billing, and remaining account holders were warned by Microsoft at the beginning of April.

We know you've got one big question, "What about accounts that haven't been migrated?"

First off, we'd like to reiterate that no character data is being lost. No characters are being deleted and no allegiance ties are being severed. If one of your vassals is on an account that hasn't been migrated, don't worry, that character isn't going anywhere.

So, what if a player who's been inactive during the entirety of migration wants to come back and access their old characters? Will that even be possible after tomorrow?

Absolutely! We're rolling out a program we call Three Point Authentication or TPA for short. TPA is live even as you read this.

How does it work? It's very simple - if you have an account that has not yet been migrated, simply go to https://billing.turbinegames.com/index.php?page_id=65. You'll be prompted to enter the name of one of your characters, your Zone ID, and the world on which this character resides. If it all matches, you'll proceed to create a Turbine Billing account and this character - and all other characters on that Zone ID - will be transferred to the new Turbine account.

Please note that this will only work on accounts that have not yet been migrated.
