Dungeons And Dragons Online: DDO News: Item Slots

There has been a fair amount of debate about which item slots will be available, and which should be available. Xundau dropped by the official forums to do some updating:

Okay, so I talked to the treasure and equipment people, and plans have changed (as they are wont to do), and we are doing an eyewear slot now. This will be a separate slot from the helmet.

As for being able to wear both gloves and bracers at the same time, this is true in DDO and true in 3.5 PnP as well -- check out p. 214 of the DMG. I remember that you could only have one or the other in NWN and possibly some other games, so this might be where some of the confusion is coming from.

While a minor issue, it's kind of interesting to follow. For some reason, I have the urge to see a Warforged in some nice Elton John sunglasses. At any rate, here is the thread.
