Casual Raid Zones? Sounds Like An Oxymoron!
Along with a tidbit of information on the upcoming Blackwings Lair, Tigole posted some interesting information on creating casual friendly raid zones...
Blackwing Lair is going to be capped at 40 people. The zone will be tuned to be extremely difficult to present a challenge to those guilds who have experience with content such as the Molten Core and Onyxia. But rest assured, we have been listening closely to the community's desires for a more "casuaul" friendly raid zone. So the zone we're working on after Blackwing Lair will be tuned for a raid somewhere around 15-25 people (most likely 20). Ultimately, playtesting will determine the final cap. Also, we want the zone the be doable much more frequently than our "hardcore" raid content. So most likely it will have a reset of 1-3 days. We're also trying to make the zone require less time than Molten Core. This zone is called Zul'Gurub and is located in North Eastern Stranglethorn. As it gets closer to the time of release, we'll be releasing more information. But I think this zone will be a very attractive stepping stone for smaller guilds into the higher level raid content.

And here's a nice piece of news for Hunters!
Just an update from the next patch...When running behind their masters and out of combat (travelling, basically), pets have had their movement speed increased.
This should hopefully prevent accidental dismissal when pathing problems arise. :)
Missed Patch Notes And A Battlegrounds Tidbit!
Seems Blizzard missed a few changes in the patch notes! Here's one...
Honorless Target - Players who just land from a gryphon/wyvern, or step out of an instance will gain this buff for 30 seconds during which this target will give no contribution points if killed. This was originally implemented in the previous patch, but was kept invisible.

Caydiem also posted some uplifting news about balancing the Horde:Alliance ratio in Battlegrounds in response to a complaint by a player...
That's how one type of battleground will work, not all of them. ;)That said, however, some of the development team is currently focused on finding ways to balance the Alliance to Horde ratio. Battlegrounds, while a major feature to be sure, is not the only thing we're doing to "fix" certain problems. :)
New Honor System Questions and Answers
Some players had questions about the Honor System that weren't answered in the original FAQ, which a Blizzard rep kindly answered! Here's one...
1) Are you (Blizzard) capping ranks so that players don't progress too fast through the ranks or can a player only gain a certain number of ranks (4) per week? With the same logic can one also only go down a certain number of ranks per week (4)?Yes, there is a maximum progression which can be achieved in 1 week. I am uncertain that there is a number associated with the amount of ranks you can receive. No, decay is a great deal slower than growth.
