Change of Pace: An Idea for a Upgraded Green Mire Grave

Below is an idea from an old player, fantasizing about an upgrade to Green Mire Grave and the rewards found there.

From the booklet included with AC, talking about the Green Mire Yoroi Cuirass:

"armor said to be as light as leather and enchanted to protect the wearer from acid"

Travel to the Foredawn Festival Stone at 33.9S, 75.7E, there you shall find Ugit Shi.

He shall speak of his grandfather Bi Zhan Shi, the Green Mire Warrior, and shall, after a test, grant you access to his grave.

Ugit Shi tells you, "He was the great Bi Zhan Shi, known to many across all of Dereth as the Green Mire Warrior."
Ugit Shi tells you, "True warriors admire such men as he. Fighting their foes with what would seem to be reckless abandon."
Ugit Shi tells you, "Why at times he'd often laugh while doing so!"
Ugit Shi chuckles little.
Ugit Shi tells you, "Do not worry my friend, he was always in control..."
Ugit Shi sighs, wipes a tear from his cheek and continues.
Ugit Shi tells you, "Until the ambush..."
Ugit Shi looks off in the distance longingly.
Ugit Shi tells you, "Oh yes, my apologies, you seek more than this."
Ugit Shi tells you, "You seek his armor, a cuirass of yoroi, light as leather and enchanted with magics unknown to protect you from acid."
Ugit Shi tells you, "Or his spear, a mighty slayer of swamp scum."
Ugit Shi tells you, "You cannot just have these, first you must prove thyself!"

An Ashen Moarsman spawns, providing no loot or xp, your killing blow pleases Ugit, and he allows you to continue your journey.

Ugit Shi tells you, "More savage beings walk those halls, mosswarts, much stronger than this."
Ugit Shi tells you, "When you hold his armor, and his spear, please consider..."
Ugit Shi tells you, "They are priceless family heirlooms, I shall pay handsomely should you return them to me."
Ugit Shi tells you, "Go now, Northwest, there you shall find what you seek, the Green Mire Grave."
Ugit Shi gives you Shi's Key.

Changes to Green Mire Grave:

6 Keys to 3 Keys

* Lock door to ramp down to Cuirass, require Shi's Key.
* Lock door to ramp up to Yari, require Shi's Key.
* Lock chest to Cuirass, require Moss Key.
* Lock chest to Yari, require Swamp Key.
* Unlock everything else.

Replace current Mosswart Feeders with Mudlurk Mosswarts.
Replace current Creeper Mosswarts with Barker Mosswarts.
Replace current Barker Mosswarts with Mosswart Warriors (around level 26, no magic).
Replace current Mosswart Shamans with Mosswart Idolators.
Replace current Mosswart Chief with Mosswart Zealot.
Replace Ghost Wisp with Dark Wisp.
Replace Water Wisp with Ghost Wisp.
Replace Drudge Slinkers with Drudge Slaves.
Replace Drudge Prowlers with Drudge Vagabonds.
Place a Mosswart Fanatic in Yari room.

In one goes, after some encounters with some mosswarts, he finds a door. Opening the door a ramp heads down, and down he goes.

At last, the room in which the legendary cuirass is held captive by fearsome mosswarts.

Wearing his new armor our hero considers leaving, but then remembers his vassal, a spearsman who would be delighted to have the legendary Green Mire Yari. Off he goes...

Yari Chest Current: Green Mire Yari, Tachi, and Yoroi Breastplate
Yari Chest Suggested: Green Mire Yari, 2-4 sik level items and 20,000 pyreals

Green Mire Yari Effect Change: a slight green glow
Current Yari Stats: 6-11 Piercing Speed 25 Heart Seeker II Dif 18 Spear 75, 710 BU 1200 Value
Suggested Stats: 6-14 +5a +5m Piercing Speed 15 Blood Drinker III Heart Seeker III Defender II Acid Pro IV, Dif 20 Spear 140, Level Req 10+, 240BU 600 Value

Current Cuirass Stats: AL 108 aa/a/a/n/n/a/n Acid Bane III Dif 45 Melee 130+, 1830BU, 2100 Value
Suggested: AL 120 aa/a/a/ba/ba/aa/ba Minor Impen, Acid Bane III, Minor Acid Ward, Dif 20 Melee 170+, Level Req 10+, 450BU 1200 Value

Allows it to be good armor even when unable to use it's magic, and much nicer afterwards.

It says in the little booklet that comes with AC that the Green Mire Yoroi Cuirass is "enchanted to protect the wearer from acid".

Minor Acid Ward, a nice 10% to all acid damage, seems appropriate.

Why so light?

The booklet also mentions "as light as leather", so does Ugit. :)

Available in other rooms of the Green Mire Grave should be a few unusable items once owned by Bi Zhan Shi.

Shi's Pick, Shi's Healing Kit, Shi's Sack, Shi's Tunic

Ugit Shi tells you, "So you have returned, congratulations on your victories over the mosswarts."
Ugit Shi tells you, "Please, give me the heirlooms, be warned though, I shall not return them dare you reconsider."
Rewards from Ugit Shi:
Any Level for turn in, 6 hour timer.
Shi's Pick: 15,000 xp, and a C Note
Shi's Healing Kit: 15,000 xp, and a C Note
Shi's Sack: 15,000 xp, and a C Note
Shi's Tunic: 15,000 xp, and a Treated Healing Kit
Must be Level 10 or higher to turn in the below, 12 hour timer on turn in.
Green Mire Yari: 50,000 xp, a C Note, and two Treated Healing Kits
Green Mire Yoroi Cuirass: 90,000 xp, a D Note, a Shoushi Portal Gem, and three Treated Healing Kits

Naturally the above is just an idea, if you go with it in any way I shall be honored, no matter how much is changed.

Yes, I am indeed crazy. That aside, I thought it'd be a nice change of pace, instead of hearing about changes to spawns, or the aegis, or combat macros, or etc. One can imagine one of our old favorite's being useful again. Don't you remember the days? GMC, Olthoi's Helm, Yoroi Sleeves & Leggings, Studded Leather Boots!
