It didn't really sink in what I was doing until the day of my departure.

I started off last Friday night with a trip to the Elvis Lair. It was one last trip to grab a pincer before I come back, whenever that may be. Along the way I ran into some Small Golems, which I had never actually seen in person.

I had already buffed up for the lair in mage armor, but realized I should get into my normal armor to be safe. After I had it baned, I forgot to actually change into it (surprised?).

I threw a bludgeon vuln on one golem, but as there was a very heavy spawn nearby it, I waited until they were very close to open fire. I realized my armor mistake quite quickly when I was initially hit for 150 points.

After running away between spawns, I healed myself, changed armor, went back and killed them one by one. It was a little ironic to have met a long-time goal at the beginning of my last AC weekend. After playing with the eviscerators, I decided to continue in the spirit of completing unfinished tasks the following morning, ending in a Gaerlan quest that the clan had scheduled for 10 AM.
