Asherons Call: AC Discussions: The Pack Rat

Ok I'll be the first to admit, I'm a packrat. I have three active characters and three fully laden mules. Their knees are buckling and they complain a lot because I keep them chained to the storage in the basement. But what do they even have on them? Well, I did a little spring cleaning today, and was amazed, and a little horrified as to what I was burdening these poor souls with. Remember the little 'keys' you needed to open the statue portal bases? I have 5 of those. Sclavus hides: 8. Now of course I have all the bronze weapons and packdolls that are no longer available, but why do I have one of every dress and robe in every dyed colour, plus every loot robe past and present? Even more baffling the next mule was strangely holding a tart apple, a holtburger, pepper jack cheese, herbal tea, and nanner cream pie! Leftovers from a picnic maybe?
Now of course there are some actually useful items, like a major arcane atlatl *cough*....but for the most part, I'm holding onto these items because they're discontinued, they're rare, they're pretty or there's a chance that come expansion, Turbine will discontinue them or alter them. And then where would I be!?!

Now I know I'm not alone out there, I've heard confessions of pack-rat-itis that put me to shame, so tell me, what do you hoard and why?
