Since a lot of people are just starting to learn about the alpha and beta processes, this post may be of interest. Fernando pops on the official forums to discuss a little about what's permissible during testing:

We absolutely want to know about any exploit you believe you have discovered. In some cases the exploits may be things we already plan on fixing. In others, they may be things that we decide are not worth fixing, but we would certainly still want to know about them.
