Asherons Call: QotD - Should certain quests be retired from the game?

Today's QotD comes from our new Lore Editor, Aviendha the Just.

She asks, "Should certain quest items be retired from the game? Certain items are no longer rare, and barely useful in the game's current incarnation."

However, we all remember the uproar over Shadow Armor, Hoaries, etc. But, I really do like my Energy Crystal.

It's a tough question.

And if they should be retired, which ones? And why those?

BTW, we do accept suggestions for QotD. *grins*
