Asherons Call: AC Discussions: Assess Creature

Is it time the Assess Creature skill went the way of Appraise Item?
While I see the definite need to find out that a coral golem viceroy has 10 000 health before I lunged at it with my UA, I no longer see the purpose behind those stats being 'hidden' - particularly considering there are many a third party application, whose soul purpose is to whisper those stats in your ear...PLUS information you cannot find out from a simple identification, such as attack type, and weaknesses.

What are your thoughts on this? Is there any real mystery left behind those ???'s in the ID panel, or is it time to come clean and remove the Assess Creature skill completely?
