Final Fantasy: Final Fantasy on PS3 - A remake in the works?

An article on from the latest issue of Dengeki Playstation, covered at PS3portal.com, features an interview with Yoshinori Kitase, the director for the Final Fantasy VII: Tech Demo and orginal FFVII showed at the E3 PS3 presentation a while back, within he hints about Final Fantasy on the PS3.

The hint in it self is that both the FFVII - Tech Demo as well as the FF for the PS3 is supervised by him - him saying that both have gone through similar processes. This could be FFXIII but as he, him self directed FFVII and now is supervising a game development one can begin to speculate what is happeing behind the scens.

Several sites, have in counter of the fot-down statment that there will be no FFVII remake statment, begining to speculate on what Kitase-san has said and if this a very subtle hint on a remake.
