Star Wars Galaxies: A busy day for Q

Q-3P0 stopped by the Star Wars Galaxies boards last night to report the following:

First, we're right before the end of the fiscal year. This means yearly employee reviews. Rich, John and I have been somewhat swamped with that this week. My review isn't until tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Secondly, we had a demo today for a Sony Pictures Power That Be (he's down checking out all the SOE projects). Holocron came out to San Diego to lead that (he's on a plane back to Austin right now). That demo went really well for us. We showed off group combat, the new player tutorial, pet taming, crafting, house placement and furnishing and a couple planets. He was very impressed with how far we've come since the last project review several months ago and also at the breadth of our game.

Thirdly, we've been working hard on a beta patch. Today we put up Corellia on the Beta server. Tomorrow I'll give you a report on it from the beta testers.
