Star Wars Galaxies: Sad news ... [UPDATED]

I was informed Saturday that one of my former assistant site managers, Karywn, passed away Friday morning after a battle with Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS).

Karywn was an integral part of our little family here at SWG WarCry and we were all saddened when she stepped down from her duties last year to concentrate on real life issues. She continued to be a presence in our forums and on Starsider as Karywn or her doctor, Sosumi.

Possessed of a wry sense of humor and an impressive work ethic, she made all our lives a little better in the time we knew her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family. She will be missed.

[UPDATE] Karywn built a hospital in Mesric Sanctuary, Tatoonine (733 -4073) on Starsider and her ingame friends are planning on having a vigil there today (Wednesday, July 13, 2005) at 8:30 p.m. Eastern. All are welcome to attend.
