Lineage 2: Patch Notes

Patch Notes:

During our maintenance period tomorrow (Thursday, July 28) between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 (noon) p.m. PST, the following changes will be made:

* Dueling Zones:

In arenas, party members were regarded as enemies. They could be attacked without a force attack needed (ctrl key being pressed). Also, the ctrl key needed to be pressed or /forceskill had to be entered for beneficial spells to be cast on party members. This bug was a pain for those who liked to group in the arenas. Party members are not longer considered enemies in arenas. Holding down the ctrl key is required to make an attack on a party member. Extra keys or commands are no longer needed to cast beneficial spells on party members, in an arena. Note: this does not apply to clans or alliances but, Overlord clan/alliance buff effects will extend to clan/alliance members.

* Sub Classes:

You're now allowed to alter your choice for an existing sub class(es). Basically, you can dismiss the current one(s) to make a new choice for a class to start all over from scratch (level 40). A sub class level 40 or higher is eligible for this option. Change-over can be accepted by the training master NPC of the class you wish to change to.

* Quests:

1) Pursuit of Clan Ambition: Clan leaders can now obtain quest items when a monster is killed by another clan member(s). The clan leader should be in close range to the clan member who kills the monster.
2) Silver Haired Shaman: Fixed problem with not correctly showing whereabouts of the Sairon series of monsters.
3) Spring Water of Mimir: updated the correct location to collect Sage's Stone (Forsaken Plains instead of Silent Valley)

* Misc.:

1) If a non-chaotic character pk's, regardless of them turning purple, the character's name will turn red immediately.
2) Fixed a problem with being able to attack your clan/alliance members without having to press the ctrl key during a siege for the Devastated Castle.
3) Fixed a problem with being sent to an inappropriate town not associated to your current vicinity when using a scroll of escape.
4) Fixed a problem that had two broadcasting towers (in the Oracle of Dusk) positioned at the same spot.
5) Fixed a problem with skill animations behaving abnormally for some of SSQ dungeon monsters such as Sepulcher Guardian/Guard and Tomb Guardian.
