'THE MAP' has been Updated Again!
'THE MAP' is a 5.39 MB PNG image of the land of Dereth (last update: 29 August 2005 by Gawa Ibn Edwas of Solclaim). This latest version fixes two wrong locations near Aerlinthe and includes the locations from the Friend & Foe patch!

Here's the latest release of 'The Map'. All the locations in the WCoD database should be marked on it. The map is intended for printing at 36"x36" (9 sq ft).

- Entire map is generated with Gawa Ibn Edwas of Solclaim's own toolset, written in Java. Also available at Gawa's site are copies of this map split into 9 or 16 different sections for easier printing.

- One of the data files of the game (cell.dat) functions as the source for the data to generate the landscape.

- The code used to extract the map from the cell.dat, David Simpson's Dereth cartography.

- And the contributor Gandalf Zu'l Zoran - Solclaim (25th of April 2004).
