In the wake of the recent IGN video announcing the level 10 cap and "some seven months" from release, the forums light up.
Multiclassing
Devilmouse reassures us multiclassing will still be in, despite some concerns of the "Tank-mage" comment made in the interview. And "...it's still based off levels proper."
Skills, action points, and enhancements
Ken Troop appears to make some clarifications on his recently posted dev diary. In this post, he covers the difference between skill points and action points, what an enhancement is (they're not feats!), and how they're rewarded via ranks. Also a look at leveling time.
Enhancements affecting spells?
Not directly, but they may make some feats, such as metamagic ones, a little better. They won't be granting new spells, though. Eckelberry also steps in to confirm enhancements enhance things, as well as cite examples.
Enhancements limited to 4 at a time
Eckelberry talks a little bit about why they've chosen to enforce a rule of 4 total enhancements, out of a possible 40, at a time. Mainly, to keep the game closer to PnP and allow players to swap out for stronger enhancements as they advance.
Enhancements in Alpha
They aren't implemented yet, but the points for them are. The next major patch should be introducing some of them. It's a shame the NDA prevents us from hearing too much. Hopefully they'll let us know how well they're received by the current pool.
Before March 31st?
Sporkfire won't get much more specific than that, but he says they're aiming for some time before then.
Concurrent Users
According to Sporkfire, they currently have about 40 concurrent users in alpha at peak times. They're happy with that, and want more, so expect to be inviting several more waves in the next few weeks, aiming for about 1000 users, 200 concurrent. He also clarifies the "approaching 1000" statement from the video interview.
Will levels 11-20 be expansion content or free?
Time for a direct quote from Spork: "I can't answer the base question just yet. The design goal is to implement levels 10-20. The design plan is not yet drafted. There are lots of ways we could present the additional levels. Right now, it could go either way. If the additional levels are a part of an expansion, they will probably not be the only feature of that expansion, and there will be plenty of content to validate your purchase."
