Asherons Call: More about the Very Mad Cow!

The epic battle started when I received this message:

<span style="COLOR: green">Warriors of Dereth, long have you had your way with the defenseless cows of this world - slaughtering, mocking, tipping. You wound these noble beasts for your demented amusement, and still they maintain peace.

But the cows have suffered long enough. There is one who has risen, one who would scour the world of your two-legged kind. She is mad, oh so very mad. And she stalks the forests north of Ayan Baqur.</span>

As any true adventurer would, I investigated. What I found, was a Very Mad Cow.



Overcome by the fear that my fellow adventurers would be destroyed if I did not act, I moved in for the kill:

The Very Mad Cow was not impressed.

When I finally managed to hit it once, I drew its reprimand. One swing of the horns, and:

My resolve now emboldened, I decide to brave another round in the ring with Very Mad Cow.

I return, swing and miss a few more thousand times, until we see this:

A low moo echoes amongst the forests north of Ayan Baqur, your world is once again safe. For now.</span>

There was no apparently good loot, nor was there any reason for the battle. I wasn't much help, as I bet I hit the cow 5 times out of two hundred swings, doing at most 6 pts of damage per hit. but it was kind of a fun event for a change, and really kind of funny - there has been a LOT of cow abuse in this game!
