Final Fantasy: Main magical item of FFXII revealed

The magical energy comes in many different types, in the magazine it is said that Vaan is out to steal a rare type of "Maseki" from a (so far unnamed) castle. So it appears that the "Maseki" will play a role in the actual story of XII.

Final Fantasy XII is set for release in Japan on 16th March. No date has been announced yet for the US. However lucky gamers in the US who pick up a copy of Dragon Quest VII (release date: 22nd November) will get to play a demo of XII which will be included with DQ VIII.(Credit goes out to DF for that information)
