Patch News
The 16.0 patch is still on our test server and we know that many of you are anxious to hear when the patch will be coming across to the live servers. Unfortunately the patch isn't quite polished enough for release just yet, and we will be continuing to update and test the patch on Test live until it is ready.

The current plan is to have the patch ready to go within the next few weeks. We hope that you will all appreciate that as much as we can't wait to let you all experience the new content this additional time is required to ensure the smoothest launch possible of the new content.

Charitable Donations

It has come to our attention that certain organisations and individuals have been asking for donations of virtual currency in games like Anarchy Online to charitable causes by saying they will then donate a nominal amount of real money for the virtual currency received. Please remember that not only is the re-sale of virtual currency from AO expressly prohibited by the EULA there is also no means to ensure that any virtual currency given in good faith is not being re-sold for a profit.

If current events like the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina have encouraged you to be charitable we would suggest a much more meaningful and effective method of donation would be to support established charitable organisations like the American Red Cross
