Asherons Call: Storyteller's Dream

Do you believe in evil, or in other worlds apart from our own? I used to believe that such fanciful places were merely figments of overactive imaginations. They were worthy of stories and legends, but little else.

I have, however, come to see a new evil. A darkness unforeseen that is a breeding ground for hatred and spite. It came to me in a dream last night, as I slept dreaming of my beloved Pleasure Seeker, whom I wish to one day take as my wife.

In my dream I saw Ilumini, and Ridix, and Contageous. I saw them as clearly as though they were standing through polished and pure glass. It was somehow surreal, and solid at the same time. I knew I was dreaming, and a feeling of fear overtook me not unlike that I have had while witnessing the Dark Prince's power.

But this was somehow different. It was not the world that I knew. It was a world filled with murderers and thieves. Filled with the very dregs of Isparian kind, where Asheron's protections held no sway. Where blood ran in the streets in a disgusting dark tide...

And there they stood. They drew no weapon against one another, nor did they display any signs of being enemies, but instead fought in unison against the entire world at once.

It was terrible, and beautiful at the same time. Could it be the mirror of another world that managed to pierce my dream with a splinter of its dark vision?

I can only hope that it was nothing more than the drinking of poor wine, and perhaps an undercooked egg or two.
