As of Oct. 15, 2:15 (PDT) we have been experiencing login difficulties with FINAL FANTASY XI. We are still investigating the matter and expect the matter to be resolved shortly.

We have confirmed that the login difficulties are due to a continuous DDoS attack from anonymous third parties.
We will continue investigating the issue and consider all possible measures to bring this matter to a speedy resolution.
