Asherons Call: Give me my robe...I have Immortal longings in me...

imageLets talk about Robes. For as long as anyone can remember we have asked for loot generated robes. While there are quite a few nifty quest robes, Hoary, Swarthy, Enscorcelled, and the Siraluun dresses come to mind immediately, they're not quite what we were hoping for.
Initially, people balked at the idea of a truly equitable loot armor robe, simply because it was one item to bane. Well now that we are able to bane our entire bodies at once with each spell, that's not such a concern anymore.
Then it became our desire to tinker up robes. Again, we were to be denied, and many people spoke on both sides of the issue.
Now with the addition of Majors and VII's on loot generated clothing, as well as the increase of armor level to crowns, shoes, gloves and such, we are once again considering the question - what about robes?
Now being the fashionista that I am, I long for loot generated robes that came in all the colours of the AC palette. That faded purple, with black trim, yummy! Do I care about an armor level, not particularly, but in all honesty, I can see where a decent armor levelled loot robe could come in handy. So many reroles are running around in mossie warpaint, that we look a little silly.

So tell us, what are your arguments, pro and con, for the implementation of loot generated robes WITH comparable armor levels, majors and VII spells? [Lets leave robe tinkering to a whole other rant...]

ps I apologize for the mutilated Shakespeare in the title
