Star Wars Galaxies: Dev Team Interview

We recently was able to interview the team leads for Star Wars Galaxies, we discussed various aspects of MMORPG design, as well as, the personal feelings of the devs working with the Star Wars Universe. Here is a snippet of the interview:

[Tark] If you were going to build a pc for yourself today- to play games out now and in the future, what would you build?

[Jeff Grills] I'd buy an ASUS motherboard, Intel 3+ ghz Hyperthreaded processor, 1gb (or more) ECC fast RAM, an ATI 9800 Pro video card, DVD, CD burner, and a large IDE hard drive with an 8mb cache. I usually play games with Etymotic ER-4P headphones (they're incredible), so I don't much bother with many-channel sound cards. If I still had money left over to spend, I'd put it into an IDE RAID level 3 controller and the extra drives to run that setup.
