The Aluvians follow the Code of Pwyll, the Gharu'ndim revere the poet Yasif ibn Salayyar, but the most subtle and complex of the belief systems are of those Sho who follow the teachings of the prophet Jojii. The town of Shoushi was founded on these principles, and any who start there are quickly shown how the principles of the Four Stones; Humility, Discipline, Compassion and Detachment can benefit their lives. The Four Stones are the building blocks that every Sho should strive to achieve so they can be in balance with the Three Elders: the Unicorn of Grace, the Firebird of Splendor, and the Dragon of Power.
This is the story of one warrior who gave up his weapon to find the balance and tranquility he truly desired. We can follow his search for enlightenment in this world of savagery and maybe be better Isparians for the effort.
