Asherons Call: Quest Updates: Fire Spear

The remote town of Crater Village is certainly one of the more scenic locations in Dereth, but not by any means one of the most hospitable. It does, however, provide a wonderful starting point for adventurers wishing to explore the Esper Mountains, and the north of Osteth in general, for those willing to tarry there.

Not all find the hospitality of Crater Village sufficient, or even desirable - many of our enemies have built installations or struck camps near the caldera of Mount Esper. Some, such as the Lost City of Frore and the Caulnalain Vestibule have long-since been invaded, explored, and thoroughly mapped, whilst others, such as the Empyrean Fire Propylaeum play host to a steady stream of Isparian adventurers even to this day.

Some camps and installations are less well known, however, existing merely as rumours or local legends. During my recent travels, I had cause to investigate one such rumour - one concerning a group of Banderlings near Esper, thought to carry some unique fiery equipment! These whisperings turned out to be solidly based in fact - and details of my investigation are now available in our Quest Compendium. Those with a knowledge of the spear in combat, and perhaps a hate for Banderlings, may well consider locating the Esper Banderling Camp a worthwhile investment of time...

We've also updated several of our older quest chronicles, as new information has recently come to light. The entries for the Prismatic Stone, Shadowhunter Armor, Blind Snowman and Nuhmudira's Research (Part I) have all had their Quest Timers updated to reflect the current state of affairs.
