Leading Video Game Job Conference and Resume Workshop Returns
The Game Initiative is once again pleased to host the one and only Seattle Game Conference, an event designed to allow attendees an unprecedented opportunity to interact with game industry professionals, gaining valuable contacts and strategies of how to get into the game industry, said Christopher Sherman, Game Initiative Executive Director. The program identifies technology trends and job requirements, includes a detailed resume workshop as well as an overview of the qualifications and skill-sets that are in demand. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and network with industry insiders throughout the day and participate in the Demo Reel Showcase, where can bring their laptops to showcase their demo reels to
peers and industry professionals for direct feedback.
Students will learn how to build an early professional road map to a career in the game industry. Professionals looking to move into the business from other industries will learn how their experience and
transferable skills can gain rapid entry into the game industry. The event will also provide a great opportunity for local game companies to meet potential new talent. The program offers plenty of one-on-one time with industry professionals throughout the day.
