Star Wars Galaxies: More on entertainers!

Q-3P0 stopped by the forums to answer yet more questions people have on entertainers!

Question: Are the entertainers restricted to playing in the city limits or are they going to become Star Wars equivalent to the Everquest Bard class? I don't want to be in the heat of battle and see somebody singing and dancing next to me while I am trying to fight for the cause.

Battle fatigue and Mind wounds can only be healed in certain places like cantinas (though Mind Wounds can also be healed in scout created camps). You shouldn't see people dancing and playing music during combat. The EQ style bard isn't appropriate for Star Wars. EverQuest was very concerned about all classes being balanced by level to fight monsters. In SWG, we are looking to balance all professions so they are fun, but they are not meant to be balanced in terms of fighting. Entertainers don't gain dancing XP by killing. If you want to be an Entertainer who is good in combat, you had better pick up some marksman or brawler skills...
